E60 Lcm problem after retrofitting Headlights
So basically the headlights are lci and tail lights pre lci I have the lcm2 module when I plug it in everything works 10 seconds pass the both the brake lights turn off and don’t work. If I swap it with the old lcm then they work normally.
My question is whether it’s a wiring issue or a coding issue?

]Have you coded the LM2 module to your car? alternatively did you get the right LM2 version? AHL or standard xenon/halogen?
i have one lm2 that is coded to the car but I bought another one to see if it will fix it but with the new used lm2 almost all the lights turned off after 10 seconds. The other lm2 is the correct one and the only problem is that the rear brake lights short circuit. It’s a standard xenon and the same with the other one I bought.
i have tried removing it with tool32 they come on but turn off again after 10-20 seconds.

I did this when I was retrofitting adaptive xenon’s to my halogen car. I’m almost sure I had to re-pin the plug at the LM for the brake lights to work properly as well as some other stuff. I still have the rough notes lying about somewhere, I’ll try to find them and let you know whats written down.

Good Morning:
I have a 2009 BMW 528i X-Drive. I want to retrofit it with headlamp assemblies from an 04-07 5 series. Is it possible? If so, how do I go about doing it. What will be the wiring issues? Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
