My Ride: BMW E60 Special Edition
E60 LCI gearbox swap to non-LCI
Hello. I Was found some threads about swapping LCI gearbox with JOYSTICK to non lci e60 Diesel. Maybe someone was done it and can give more information what are need?
Car is 530dA 160kw.
In mechanicaly it will fit, but going in ,,LIMP SAFE" mode on third gear only, having three fault codes:
1st: no communication with CAS
2nd: no communication with dde
3rd: idle speed signal from DDE.
Maybe need swap some wires or something? In NEWTIS.INFO i was checked wiring, so it looks all the same, only three wires need to change, so i changed, but still nothing.
I 100% guaranted it will can be done on prelci engine, just i can't find so much info what need to do to fully do this work.
Maybe Gearbox ECU is not the same?
