Looking at buying another e60, it’s going for fairly cheap. I just can’t test drive it.

how difficult is it to get a new key fob programmed to the car? Does the cost of buying a key from the dealership and getting them to code it seem worth it?

Check around for prices, they'll vary a lot depending on where you shop. If you just want a generic one, that only starts the car, those don't cost too much.

 

did they make V6 BMW? i think it is a straight 6 right? but for the key, programming keys is easy, but you do need a new key from the dealer
