This Dynolicious Application turns out to be pretty useful. I did a test run yesterday in slight traffic. Once I was able to get to the front of the line at a red light, I tried out the app. I did not get a chance to really open her up, but it was a good learning experience on how to use Dynolicious.
I had my iPhone secured in the center cradle.
Weight including me in it = 4245 LB.
Drivetrain Loss = 19% ( I figured drivetrain loss is estimated between 18-20% for the E60 M5, so halfway would be a good figure.)
This image is of the test run results. Only got it up to 319HP, Max Speed of 73.9 MPH, and Max Acceleration 0.59 G's.
Will have to redo it again. No launch control, just tried to take off as smooth as possible so it did not throw the accelerometer off.

My Ride: 04 545i sport, stick, L7, sat, nav. Charcoal/ runflat/ cdv delete.
Suede headliner/ trunk, 3 way front speakers, four 8" subs in rear shelf, ACM, iPod dock in ash tray using gateway 500 with MP3 text and video on screen, MRTM aluminum pedals/ door pins, 10 farad cap, sound processor, line conditioner, 2 amps ( 4x100 and 2x200)
I have to go test this out in my car to see if the iTouch dyno run application allows you to use the tv out ( video out ) during the dyno run... those of us with the ACM or video interface could see the dyno results on their display screen real time
