I believe the DVD system is listed under the individual options for the 5:

My Ride: F02 LCI Individual
Model Year: 2013
The BMW DVD system is the rear entertainment package, a now available very expensive option.
The DVD player in my car is a simple portable DVD player I bought, since I don't want to wait for the software update that anables DVD movie watching on the nav drive.
It's the same player Doctor Diesel has...
I can put it anywhere in the car I want. I have a holder for the headrest, that fits on the sunblind (passenger side of course!!!) too. Also a battery and all kind of cables...
This player on my pics is not a BMW option, nor a BMW accessory, it's aftermarket and portable.
