Okay, it seems to be that while I had my 20 inch rims on my car i didn't pay much attention to the posts regarding the problems with the Dunlop RF's. Now since I took off my 20's and have the 18" dunlop RF's on, i'm wondering what those issues were with the tires. I only have 12K miles left till my warranty expires so I figure if I am going to see a problem in the near future with the tires then I will expect it. I tried doing a search for this topic but the forum keeps giving me some error
Can someone direct me in the right direction where I can read up on the major problems with the tires and what issues were covered under warranty. Thanks

Good question.
I'd like to know as well since I've heard of people having their tires replaced by BMW because it was covered under warranty. I know this is not a normally covered item and that they would replace tires for "special cases" only.

I have had my 18" Dunlop RF's for 4000km's on my M 135 Rims & I am getting rid of them.
I wanted to upgrade to 172M rims when the 1st tyre change became due.
I am really unhappy with the way the RF's transmit every road imperfection. They are 100% fine on very smoothe roads. But get onto a rough or bumpy surface and you may as well drive on bare rims.
It is particularly bad with the MSports suspension.
In my opinion the safety factor is completely overshadowed by the discomfort.
So I have ordered 172 M rims & no more runflats for me.

I just got mine replaced Thursday. The old ones were VERY noisy. The more they wore, the more noise they made. My SNOW tires were considerably quieter if that's any indication.
