My Ride: 550i Mpkg GT3 HEAVILY Modded.. Nearly all track T-Reg (Wife Mobile) R8 <- Soon
Default

I'm looking to get some mods for my new to my 08' 550i w/ //M Package.

I found a CF rear diffuser that will allow me to add Dual/Quad Exhaust set up. Thus far I haven't been able to find a mfg. that has this exhaust set-up.

Those of you that have done this I'm looking for the following:

- Performance Gains
- Costs
- MFG (& Contact)
- Sound Clips
- Issues
- Pics

Lastly, any other worthwhile performance mods are appreciated.

Thanks

Sorry, not input but was wondering, what is the Porsche above your 550 in your user icon?

From what I've been told. Going dual/quads, you lose power. If you want performance gains. RPI makes a single sided muffler. But since you want dual/quads, Umnitza makes a dual setup.

My guess would be a 04 Porsche GT3.

I believe the RPI exhaust is in stock as well, dyno proven power. and for an intake setup we can do the RPI scoop and BMC filter as well.

If you are going to add the quad exhaust for purely aesthetic reasons you can go with remus, RD Sport, or a custom magnaflow setup. However, most if not all the quad systems available will result in a loss of power.
If you are interested in maximum proven gains I personally would go with Race Precision. Trinity is your best bet when in comes to RPi products. Nerweezy & the boys over at Trinity are very highly recommended and will take good care of you!

First off, Welcome to the forum.

Second, don't listen to the myths about quad setups losing power. I did a thread all about this and proved my point that when done correctly, quads CAN make just as much horsepower as other systems. Check the link below for an in-depth discussion about this subject:

Great links.. Thanks.

Looks as though the Magna Flo Set-up is great from a cost and HP Gain perspective.

Anyone else getting similar results w/ a different set-up.?
If at all possible I'd like to get a little better idea of sound?

- Performance Gains
** We've not seen DYNO on 550i, however we have seen 530i get up to 8HP at peak
- Costs
** $599
- MFG (& Contact)
** Umnitza - www.umnitza.com - info@umnitza.com
- Sound Clips
** youtube.com - search for Umnitza Exhaust
- Issues
** none
- Pics
See below

Lastly, any other worthwhile performance mods are appreciated.

Thanks
