So with having a 530xi with the extra inch height, comes a suspension dilemma. Either sport springs and suck it up or pay 0ver $1700 for coil overs. But I'm a bit of a dare devil and love to slam y cars with class. So I installed the h&r sport springs and also cut them a bit. And yes, they still run good. Feel just like they would if not cut and the drop is about another inch lower than sport set up on an xi. I have to cut the front a bit more to get that super sexy, aggressive look but i wanted it to settle a but. Didn't cut the bum stops and just ran the stock shocks. DONT BE AFRAID TO CUT.

Im going to run with the miro 935's in 20's If possible with 30 tires. They say i can't because they're staggered but again....I love to push the envelope and do what they say won't or can't be done. Stay tuned.

You can run 20" Miros on there no problem, just not a staggered set up... i believe it will run an error on your idrive. But lets see if you can pull it off ![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)

Oh, to the OP, if you keep cutting the springs, you won't have any strut travel in the front. You could be bottomed out just sitting still, on the bump stops of course. The xi struts just don't have enough room in front for a big drop. And I can assure you that you are sitting on your stops as is...not good.
