Well, I finally got a chance to go to the shop today and have the H&R springs installed. The ride so far (i've driven it about 150 miles) is tolerable, it's not as rough as everyone had describe. Unfortunately, the ride is not my concern. On my way home tonight, I realized that my headlights were pointing down. When I got home I shut the car off and restarted it to see if it will level but it didnt, it went up and down and stayed down. Could the guy @ the shop ordered the wrong springs? I tried looking @ H&R's sight but there wasnt a different part # for an e60 with self leveling, the only difference was whether it was a wagon or sedan.

This was sent to me from the wise Dr. Lev:

Oh......one IMPORTANT TIP: Mark on a wall where you front headlights shine PRE-drop....with tape or whatever. Mark the ground also where your tires are...all 4. Your aim will be off once you drop the car, and getting the lights back will be so much easier for you if you take out the guess work of aiming afterward....BELIEVE ME!

Once you drop it, pull the car back into your pre-marked area and prior distance from the wall, and adjust the lights upward.

Read this for thread to adjust.....real easy, just need a torx bit. Don't mess with the RIGHT and LEFT adjustments...just up and down.

Yeah, the lights will not self-level to the original height if you drop the car. You must manually adjust them per above link.
