I just got a lamp-out warning in my 2006 e60 with HIDs. Driver side DRL is out but so are the angel eyes on that side. I checked the gross "Lighting" fuses and they are all intact.

Questions are:
1. Are the DRLs and the angel eyes connected so that if the DRL goes out the angel eyes do too?
2. if #1 is not true does anyone know which fuses to pull for those specific circuit - owner's manual was useless

No, just luck of the draw that your flash to pass bulb and angel eye bulb are both out.

 

Angel eyes are the DRL.

 

Not so since he's pre-LCI.

 

I didn't even look to see his year.

 

It's in his first sentence...
