My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
Default Dramatic new mods, just not quite good ones

So Monday I was making a left and the Tahoe in front of me stopped short. I hit him, and his trailer tow bar did this (see attached photos). Initial estimate is about $8k
I've been driving for a little over 23 years and never hit anyone (although I have been rear ended 4 times and got t-boned by a drunk driver once).

Omg! Pjinca.... Are you ok? It looks bad but as long as you have full insurance and this is the first accident they should let it slide hopefully... They normally have that 1st accident forgiveness..hope everything gets sorted out and you get your baby back up and running

Thanks bro, yeah, I am fine - just feel like a dumbass . I was going slow enough that the airbags didn't even deploy. Yeah, I have full coverage, too bad for my insurance company - I just switched to them in August (they are $90/mo cheaper than any other quote and they are a large national insurer)

Hopefully if things work out Trinity will be hooking it up with some nice new mods during the repairs to make me feel a little better.

Sad to hear that John, but you're already looking at the brighter side, I see.

Thank you Michael, and yes, looking towards (hopefully) a nice CF hood as a replacement, among other little tidbits

Yeah bro, I am fine, I was doing probably less than 15 mph. If the guy hadn't slammed on his brakes it wouldn't have been so bad - but trailer towbar and aluminum hoods REALLY don't agree with each other when they meet.

The only good news here? When in doubt - call Joe@TrinityAutosport and he will make things better, big props to Joe for helping out

John, glad you are ok and your 5 isn't totaled or any worse than it is. Whay did they brake like that? Did the ball hit the radiator?
