Happy? Good quality? Do you recall if the center bore uses a centering ring, or are they specific to your car? Got any pix? Thanks in advance....

I've not seen any E60 with DPE wheels before, but i know they are pretty good wheels and their prices are reasonable.

There are many DPE wheels on E46.. check it out at E46 forums.. they have many pics over there..

Yeah, I saw DPE wheels for the first time when I went to that BMW show in Fremont a month ago. They look great.....very sporty/racy.

Being that they're custom forged wheels, I would imagine that they're hubcentric fit for your specific vehicle when you order them. But if you had to use hubcentric rings, be aware that those rings come in different materials and some wear out faster than others.

Here's the link to DPE's site with some pics:

THere's a very nice set of 20" on ebay that would happen to match my car; however, the ad says for 5 and 7 series. The wheels were apparently mounted on an E39. But if they are CB specific (no rings), then E39 is all they will fit, nothing else. If they use rings, then it's probably OK. Just a little too much money to take a chance on without knowing, and the DPE site is pretty much useless about specs. Thoughts appreciated.

My understanding is that the hub on an e39 is bigger than that of an e60. If the gap is significant, even hubcentric rings won't help. Guess you'll have to call DPE directly to be sure.

I was thinking it was the other way around, and that the E39 wheels would only fit e39; that is, the CD would not be big enough to get around the hub flange....

Hmm...I could be wrong but that's how I remembered it. My brother has an e39 and he wanted to put my e60 sport wheels on there but that was what he was told.

I actually have a set one order - the r06 split spokes 20" 9" in front and 10" in rear. I got them in brushed aluminum.

Ordered them through a friend of mine a month ago. I've been anxiously awaiting them. I will post pics as soon as i get them on.
