Well, after 2 weeks to the day of sitting in the shop, the conclusion today is that the 3/4 tank of water sitting in my gastank my be the problem.
I posted my frustration a few times during this period, computer module this, new brain that, catalytic converter WHAT ??!! So quick this intellegent car can diagnose simple problems on its own, they did a brief fuel test then went on. Even though I wrote them "my tank was near empty and had just filled it when the stalling occured". The end of week one, I even asked my service advisor "have we totally ruled out fuel?"
Anyway, car is supposed to be running like a champ and I can pick it up tomorrow- 16 days after it first stalled. After only having the car for 11 weeks when this happened, I'm kinda thinking I'm due a little something. Sure, they're picking up the H2O repair which should have been billable, but .... Am I just being selfish?

Somewhere in the delivery process. We have huge flooding here and somewhere the tanker trucks picked up water with their load of fuel. I guess about 10 stations were effected.
