Every time the same story. As soon as I get a new car, I start to plan for all possible mods, improvements and the like; so, to say, I play with the new toy.
But after few months (sooner or later, it depends on the degree of satsfaction with the car) I start to play with the idea to switch to a new car. If I'm happy with the current one (and I' m really hapy with my E60) I start to plan to switch to a new version of the same car, equipped with all the stuff for some reason now I miss ( why didn't I order the comfort seats? Only heaven knows), to that colour combo that for some reason now seems sooooo much better than mine, with those rims sooooo cool and so on.
So, to make a long story short, I have already started to visit my dealer to ask quotations and all the possible options for a new car. The official excuse to my wife is that, since she would like to switch to a smaller city car, we should need a more practical family car; therefore, we NEED to switch to a superequipped E61, there is no other choice.

It was less than 2 months after I bought my 545i that I visited my dealer to put my name on the M5 list.

I feel your pain.

That's why I lease (well, at least one reason). When I was "buying" my cars I'd get a new one every year. Given that it is more costly to bail out of a lease it helps me ease my temptation.
I've got just over a year to go and already I'm starting "the process"
