does anyone sell replacement exhaust tips for the 550i?

My Ride: 2006 BMW 550i

i noticed the stock tips come off easy, plus since i put on my mtech, the tips dont look even.
anyone sell replacements?

also, what is the purpose for the flap on the one exhaust outlet?

did you try to polish out using magnasium/aluminum or metal polish compound???

no, but there is rust on them.

if it is like the exhaust on 545i, the flap opens/closes the one exhaust outlet. I believe this is to keep exhaust noise down at lower rpms, and it improves performance at higher rpms. On the 545i, it operates somewhere in the 3-4,000 rpm range, and you can feel the surge in power in the lower gears in addition to hearing a louder exhaust note when it opens up.

I first noticed this when driving leisurely in the wet, and when I got out, the left exhaust tip was dry and hot, while the right tip was cold and wet.
