Mike,
You should have gotten 285/25/20 or 285/30/20 with the Falken. I'm not sure if you are aware of this but tire manufacturers have different ways of measuring the width of the tires. For example, when you compare Toyo T1Rs 275/30/20 and Falken 285/25/20 they have the same width dimensions.

Except for offset of the RS10, my R10s are identical to your wheel dimensions: 20x10, but I wrapped them with 285/25/20 thus I do have some wheel protection.
yeah but it might rub if he put 285 on his car though yours and his car is littl bit different.. Also he will probably bend his rim right away with 285 25 20..

maybe he should just call manufacture and ask which tire is the best size.

I know the folks at Wheel Power well, whom happen to be the sole distributer of Radenergie wheels in North America. Everyone that sells Radenergie wheels gets them from Wheel Power. Anyway, I have spoken to them numerous times about Radenergie wheels for both BMW and Mercedes. Apparently, the offsets do not change across the different Radenergie wheel models . So, I know from EuroCarFan that his R10s have 19mm offsets all around. He got his R10s when he had his 545i. I don't see the offsets being any different with the RS10 model. I can almost guarantee that the RS10 have the same offsets as the R10s.

Mike,
Get 285/30/20 if you can. You have a little more sidewall height than 285/25/20.

well but you just used H&R to lower it and depends on how much he lowered too. and offset.. he is using 20x10 which is pretty larger. You might use 20x9.5

There is a slight possibility that might rub. honestly since you live in NYC it might be good idea to roll up the fender..(pot holes uneven roads) Better to be safe. It might save your money later.

You shouldve got Nitto Nt555. It handles better and love them...
Actually, my fenders are rolled.

And mine is lowered 1.2 all around.

I think i might try to go with 285/30/20, just to be on the safer side. This kind of sucks, seeing i wanted to put these wheels on soon, but now i have to wait for the right tire.

Thanks for the advice joe. Since u say falken's measure it differently. i guess that's why it sticks out so much.

Anyone want to buy falken 452's in 275/30/20? hehehe. Really good deal! Brand New!

*sigh* I should have known i got the wrong tire size. Bah.

Anyone know good deals for falken 452's shipped? I think their 230-260 a piece.

If you experience rubbing with 285/30/20, (which I think you will) you will have to shave off 3mm from the wheel. You cannot shave off more than 3mm. I did this with my R10s on the E63.

What do you mean shave off?

Btw, I was comparing the measurements of the falken's and the t1r's and they are different in measurement. at www.edgeracing.com

I found a good deal for the 285/30/20 falken 452's (2 tires) on ebay, for 460, shipped.

So if i had t1r's (275) , I wouldn't rub, but if i get the falken 285's it'll rub.. and the t1r's have more protection / comes out more on the lip to protect it, not liek the falken's right?

Dilemma, Dilemma.

Darn, what am i going to do with these falkens. !!!!!!!! I have a headache. Joe, want to buy some tires? hahaha j/p

You can shave off 3mm from the centerbore which will change your offset to 22mm instead of 19mm.

Toyo T1Rs are not known for offering wheel protection from curb rash. Also, their sidewalls are not as strong as FK452. I would only have bought the FK452 from you if they were 285/25/20.
