I was just wondering if people use pledge on their wood trim? I would think it would be great to keep all the dust off?
Anyone here tried it and any comments?

I haven't but only because I didn't think the trim was real wood? Looks more like plastic or has a plastic coating on it.

From my understanding from others is that its real wood with clear coat over it.
I figured Pledge would protect it from getting scratched or swirl marks on them.

honestly, pledge makes dust stick on it more IMO. I use it only because I like that lemon scent and how smooth it gets. Well, I use it all over my car including the leather.

My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.

I can only hope that your kidding

It's clearcoated, so just hit it with some cleaner wax and buff it off, you'll be straight.

Just individual trims are real wood, the rest is sucking plastic.
