Does anyone know how many 535d's are running with the DMS performance upgrade (on this forum)?
Have you seen any negatives to having this done?

Welcome. I think the main negatives would be possible warranty issues. At least, I have never seen any BMW owner regret such an upgrade publicly because of any driveability/performance issue. For info on the warranty issues than can arise in at least the US, go to page 2 off this topic.
