The stock maximum power of the LCI 535d is higher than its predecessor and, implicitly, has a different ECU map. So I'm guessing the question was: "Have there been any guinea pigs?".

The DMS website lists the 535d and 335d remapped as the same output, so Im guessing, seeing as the 335d has the latest engine that the final outputs are similar.

Yeh the new E90 335d give the same out put of 286 as seen on the later 535d, so i take a remap would come to the same conclusion, however i believe in the in a straight sprint, the 335d will edge the E60 as it wieghs less and is smaller.
