Fewwww. A lot of color changing going on! Honestly the white with no tinted taillights would look the "cleanest" I think. Trying to do too much to an e60 can make it look cheap. but good luck with your dipping endeavors.

By the way, any tips on dipping the e60? I plan to do mine soon and wondering if we have to crack doors after last coat? Any areas in particular need masked off?

Yes i have a few tips.

#1 remove door moldings if you want clean lines. Its very easy and its easy to re attach them. That includes the rubber top ones and the hard straight ones below the window.

#2 keep doors and hood cracked open for all coats. Don't forget to cover your engine bay so you don't get over spray in there. Even tho its very easy to remove all over spray.

#3 If your short like me and keep reach your whole hood or roof make sure you have a stepping stool handy.

#4 remove your side view mirrors if you don't plan on dipping them. Its easier to spray instead of having to go under them. And also you get less chance of excess paint dripping on your door..

#5 If your back window and windshield moldings are rotting like mine tape them up. If you don't you will get the paint in the cracks and it will look awful.

If you need any other advice or have questions feel free to PM me.

I will eventually. I usually change the color once a month for promo reasons. Still trying to decide whats next. Was thinking of trying the TRON theme they do on Lambos but it may be to much.

This was a big help, thanks. The guy across the street from me was dipping his car today using cans so I ran over there and was talking to him. We are going to dip his car in two weeks using the DYC gun I purchased, so I'll be dipping my car sooner than expected since he going to let me use his garage (has a 4 car garage).
