I followed your instructions....., but how in the world this you guys get your hands inside to release the side and bottom tabs??? I failed and failed dearly because some of my fingers are shot up!
Screwdriver and/or pliers. Also, you can put your hand through the bottom of the bumper and get a better angle.

Thnx for the DIY, installed my CF grilles on saturday morning.
Didn't wear gloves and my hands were ruined for 2 days.
The side and bottom clips were a real b%^$? to get out.
I love the look though.
Took me about an hour.
The clips may have been stiffer as my car is a 2004, also it was cold in the morning, maybe heating them with some hot water may soften them and make them easier to unclip??

Did this DIY on Thursday. The side clips are the key. Also the 5 screws under hood weather strip are missing. Anyone know the size of that screw?

I had the same finger issues that wouldn't get them out so I reverted to my caveman ways and cut the old ones out. If you go this route just do it gently. Still only took me 30 min and that included installing an RPI RAM induction. I highly suggest if your doing one -save a step and knock them both out at the same time. Of course once intalled I was thinking I should have gone with the carbon fiber!! Thanks againt to the great service @ Trinity! Putting my RPI exhaust on this Thursday- I will post pics of all this weekend!
