I hear people getting engine malfunction messages etc and it scares me...

This is for the E60 525i.

I searched under "velocity install"

this was the first thread that came up, great write up and pics...the search function is very useful tool, GL

seems the error after install is hit and miss, IIRC most members said it went away on it's own after awhile....others said the 25 sec transmission reset will do the trick (just like with SB's)

hhehe its kinda noob question but what is this Velocity does to your car ? adds more power ?

It's a throttle adjusment tool. It increases the the throttle response of our drive by wire cars, similar to the Sprint Booster but the Velocity has different settings (including on/off). There is no increase in HP or TQ.
