Bump up for people who didn't know that I added videos of the runs against the RPI ///M5 on page 2.

So I couldn't find out how to post the YouTube screen shots like how it was done on M5board so just click on the links below.

After Darren left San Jose, he was on his way to Las Vegas but decided to stop in Bakersfield and the RPI guys, Eloy (RPIpower), Joe (Vegastrashed and joet@raceprecision), Kenny (keang24) and Eddie (MPower82) drove up from SoCal to meet him. They couldn't resist this rare opportunity to compare the Dinan stroker ///M5 with a full RPI ///M5 (Kenny's). Once they met up, everyone took the space portal to Mexico.

Here are three vids from that meeting last night:

Similar results to the run against my car but I do think Darren's car pulled a bit faster on me than he did on Kenny. You guys can come to your own conclusions. I think the only main difference is that they started their runs mostly from 70-80mph whereas Darren and I started from 30-50mph.
The first two videos were starting at 2nd gear roll (1st one up to 180mph from what Darren told me). The 3rd video started from 3rd gear roll. From all the videos, you could hear that Darren car reached the redline and shifted earlier before I shifted and I'm sure he shifted at redline or at least 8000+rpm. Those torque and ability to rev up much faster put him into to the next powerband faster.

With that high speed run, it hard to distinct between 6 or 8 CLs, but at least from me, the stroker actually make power as claimed even though Darren also have SS headers(+20rwhp/tq) and Dinan midpipe(??).

In the MLE article featuring the Dinan Stroker M6, that car has the middle exhaust and pulley and they rated the car at 628hp (crank hp). This could have been a misprint because I recall this as being the same power rating before the middle exhaust and pulley were released. But assuming it was 628hp, I think Darren's car has about 650hp with the SS headers.

In addition, people too focus on peak hp/tq, but tend to forget about power under the curve/throughout the band. Just from my experience, evosport headers has higher "peak" hp than my current RPI headers, but real performance on the road was totally opposite. Torque also big different, not just from low speed, but it help rev rpm faster (similar concept with pulley, imo)
