On Dinans website under new products it lists performance software for the 545 and 550, but under the 550 link it does not. Is this avalable or not?

It says "the sofware provides an increase of 8 hp and 6 lb-ft torque @ 6500 rpm". As if you would notice! Or am I missing something here?

...in addition, you'll need free flow air filter like K&N, etc. For sure, 8hp and 6lb-ft of torque is never noticiable for a 2 ton car. However, it might help on throttle response.

I saw the same thing this morning and did a double-take.
I can wait 2 months.
I do think we would notice the impact from the Dinan stuff (CAI, throttle body, exhaust, software tuning), if not so much in terms of torque and HP gains but in responsiveness and a better sound.
But for you MT & SMG owners, the 3.45 differential is probably the best bang-for-the-buck, kick-in-the-pants investment.

Quick one,
Does BMW still approve Mods done by DINAN? What I mean here is that would my factory warranty still be valid after the mods?? I heard somewhere that DINAN is the only provider that has been certified by BMW. true?
