Does anyone have information about the upcoming Dinan chip for the new M5? I'm holding off putting in anyone elses because of the warranty concerns, and the fact that every time the ECU is reflashed, you could have your 'chip' erased. For me, the combination of automatic reflashing at my BMW dealer, and the continuation of the warranty make the Dinan chip a no-brainer. But anyone know when??

I just emailed my buddy at Dinan last week for an update on the 545 chip but haven't heard back. They already have it on their test car when I talked to him about a month ago. He wasn't sure what the delay was in releasing it at that time. When I hear back from him I'll ask about the M5.

1. About when would the E60 M5 chip be available?
2. What kind of HP/torque increase could we expect?
3. Approximate cost?
I have an idea about the last two questions, namely, maybe a 5-10% increase in hp/torque and about $2k cost. The big question is are we talking about a few months, or a year? Thanks!
