If price wasn't an issue and if I wasn't such a Dinan whore, I would probably get the ACS piece. It looks awesome! Not sure about the performance difference though. I do know my Dinan piece did improve my car's turn-in response a bit. Feels tighter and more responsive.

How are they?

Are they any cheaper alternatives?

Here's the cheapest piece: http://www.procarparts.com/store-detail.as...e=onlinestoreDB

The Dinan carbon fiber strut brace is now selling for $599 and I think the ACS piece is about $1400

does the ACS tie to the chassis of the car like the dinan or just the 2 strut towers?

The ACS strut bar only ties the 2 strut towers, unlike the Dinan, or even your stock strut bar. So ACS strut is purely eyecandy...bad move on their part.

Do you feel any improvements on the steering feel, stiffness, etc with the Dinar strut bar? Care to share your experience

So I presume you installed this 4 years ago... Was it worth it? How did it feel?

I'm driving an '05 545i Sport with SMG with 55K miles now... already lowered compared to standard, active roll stabilization also...

Would it be worthwhile to buy the Dinan CF strut bar?
