I have asked this once but didn't get many answers so I thought I'd try once more. Does anyone have any idea when Dinan will release an exaust system for the 08 535?

Dinan's exhaust system for the E60 was developed only for the V8 545 and 550 models. However a custom Dinan exhaust for any of the 5-series inline-6 models can be fabricated if the right price can be negotiated. This was accomplished by member JedPeter who had Dinan Engineering fabricate a custom setup for his E61 530iT.

ts - I was talking to my BMW dealer (also DINAN dealer) and he was saying that Hamman (sp?) is about to release an exhaust for the 535. He said he thought it was going to be pretty nice...anyone else hear this?

The I6TT shares a similar inlet diameter to the V8s. You would have to use a V8 exhaust.

Dinan's website now lists a free flowing exhaust for 535i... $1399. They claim 6hp gain and 5lbft tq gain. Anybody aware of options other than Dinan and Magnaflow?

Why don't you give Dinan a shot and let us LCI owners know how it is?

Eventually, maybe.... my first mod will be a tune. I just picked up my 535i, so I assume I have V81 (haven't dug into ECU to verify). I'm waiting to better understand the options available to me. It looks like Dinan is now flashing 135s with V81, so I assume it is only a matter of weeks before they will be ready for 535s with V81. I will probably wait a few months to see what becomes available with the introduction of Shark Edit (Jim Conforti), as well as further development on Procede V3 and the new JB3.

It's totally different, as the 535 has turbos.
