Works well, especially when in a hurry or in semi-darkness. It came in silver and black color. I painted it orange so it would look like a toy instead of possibly being mistaken for a weapon (especially in L.A.).

Reasonably loud volume. Male speaking voice. Reads to 1/2 pounds plus or minus 1%. Good enough for a quick check.

Hopefully, digitals are more rugged today than the first one I owned. It lasted two or three years and went kaput. I replaced with a Victor analog that is easy to apply wo losing air while engaging and gives consistent readings. It's probably a couple of years old. If I can find a better analog, I will buy it.

I have been using a talking one for like the past 2 years bought at radio shack for $10. Very accurate and works great! I like to have proper tire pressure in all the cars especially when 45/50 miles I drive everyday is on the highway.

When I was making my post touting the analog over my experience with the digital, I was wondering if it might not be that technology has improved the digital quality since my experience. Thanks for the testimonial.

I dunno... $10 If it lasts 2-3 years thats enough for me. I'll chuck it and get a new one. LOL
