Wish I could help, but can't. Do you have a 545i? I think you do. I'll keep my eyes open. Dinan has differentials, as I recall, for some cars, but probably not yours.

Evosport makes great differentials. Had this evosport differential installed for my E46 M6 and it was the best $5k I've ever spent on a single mod.
Pricey? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely.
People are always so hung on Horsepower this or Horsepower that (either in absolute terms at the flywheel or translated to to the rear wheels), when it is TORQUE that really makes all the difference. Nothing like increasing torque to the rear wheels.
I looked into Dinan's differentials for the E46, but did not like their gear ratios.

Yep, a nice rear end change can be very good. In my Z06, I often consider going from 3.42 to 3.73 and picking up about 8% torque.

Dinan is going to be releasing a differential for the 545 in December or January. Ratios and prices have not been released. I also beleive that it will work on the 550, but they have not confirmed this. Hope this helps.
