Some of you know from my past posts that even though I LOVED the sound of my B&B for the most part I decided to sell it because there was too much of a loud resonant sound (along with some vibration) between 1000 and 2000 RPM. I tried to get used to it for a couple of months but finally decided to sell it (with a little "push" from my wife ).

However, before I took the B&B off I decided to make one more video clip that was a little different than the ones that have been posted in the past. In all the video clips of the B&B that I have seen the camera is either inside the car, or it is outside the car as it accelerates away from the camera. I decided to put the camera outside the car, but have it attached to the car so that the distance from the exhaust to the camera is the same while the car accelerates and goes through different gears and speeds. I opened the trunk and attached a camera mounting arm to the trunk lid hinge and adjusted the camera to capture the tips of the B&B.

I love the sound as the SMG downshifts . I love and miss the sound, period . Does this mean I have regretted taking the B&B off and would like to have it again?.....NO....not as long as the noise between 1000 to 2000 RPM is there .

Here is the video clip:

I just drive mine so that I am not in 6th, on my step, in the critical RPM range when accelerating mildly. No problems for me. With you manual, you should have no problem avoiding the bad range.

Wow, got dizzy looking at the clip . Great one though, really captures the sound well

So are you planning on getting another exhaust? What?

Almost go me dizzy as well...

Thought the camera was about to go bye bye for a minute there...

Great clip. I really like the rolled tips of the B&B system.

With the SMG I could always control what gear I was in, but the sound was not there only in 6th gear. It did not matter what gear I was in, as long as I was in the 1000 to 2000 RPM range the sound was there (in somewhat different tones). Yes, it was worse in 6th, but only got slightly better in other gears. Also, it was not there only when I was accelerating, but also when coasting in that RPM range. The only way to get away from the noise while in that range was to push the accelerator ever so slightly so that I was neither accelerating nor decelerating. I found myself doing weird things just to minimize the noise instead of just driving normally.

Great video. Best range of after market exhaust system i've seen/heard and even in reverse at the end!
