Any reasons not to run diffent brands front and back? I will match tires on each axel, but I am wondering if I can run winter continentals on the front and Falken Eurowinter HS439 on the back. All tires will be 225/50R17
It is a long story, but basically I need to replace one tire that is discontinued with a pair leaving with a brand new tire that matches the other pair.
thanks in advance, these are my winter tires. My summer set will match!

I don't see why that would be a problem. You pretty much only need matching tires for aggressive or track driving/racing. As long as you don't have 4 mismatched tires that's fine. Although having mismatched tires is better than having one or two worn tires.

Not an issue other than aesthetics. I've done it several times on various cars when the fronts and rears wear out at different times.
