Difference between (US SPEC) E60 MY2009 and MY2010 HiFi 676 to L7 amp upgrade
I have a 2010 535xi with CIC 676 (small hifi amp) and I purchased the L7 speakers, subs, and amp to switch over to. I was going to use member Technic's plug to switch over with but he states they don't work on the MY2010 model. So something is different. I have been digging through tons of threads on here about switching over but I can't seem to find a thread where someone with a 2010 has done what I am doing. I seen lots of ccc to cic and others about replacing the 676 amp with aftermarket amp. But all the pictures I see confuse me. I see on some with the 676 option the have a plug that looks like the L7 amp and I have the small one on my amp. In the trunk I do have the extra small plug that goes into the L7 amp because that amp takes 2 plugs I found my wiring harness has it just wrapped up and tucked away. This weekend I soldered in a wire splice for my 2 kicker Subs and amp. But I'm lost what is different. Can I just splice into my pigtail the new L7 plug and then plug in the other small connector that I have in my harness? Bruce I wanted to send ypu a pm and ask but I'm unable to still. Maybe someone can help me decode my issue. ( BTW I had to replace my cic because of boot loop so I did code my vo to it and sound is working but no nav yet because I don't have Icom cable to do the FSC codes- I haven't found anyone with one and don't want to spend 500$ and use it once.)

You need the wiring diagrams for both amps to start with . . . . and then a pin removal tool to swap some wires around,
