Technically speaking, e60.net has no sponsors, just members that also happen to double as vendors per say. As far as items on ebay in general, members often post items found on ebay here to get feedback and possible personal experiences with seller or product, sometimes both. A useful thing to do once you've found an item on ebay is to run a search on it here as well, in this case pre-lci GP AE's. Aside from the GP's you found, I have also seen umitza predator ice AE's and AngeliBright AE's discussed. Both more than the one you found on ebay. Personally cannot comment on this product, but I do hope and think other members will chime in.

Hi

Currently the best, meaning brightest and no error codes, are the Angel iBrights. They have a patent pending fiber optics delivery system that gives off the brightest lights. The ones that you have I also sell, while good just aren't as bright as AiBs.

AiBs do come at a premium though, $250 shipped. I've had both in my car so it's really up to you. Bottom line they both work without problems. But if you are looking for the brightest on the market the AiBs are the ones to get.

Let me know

+1 I have AngeliBrights V3.0 in my pre-LCI car and I love them. Michael is a great guy and I would highly recommend him as a vendor!

i see, so you sell the cheaper ones like the ones i posted from ebay as well? how much do you charge for those and would you happen to have comparison pics between the AiB's vs. the regular ones?

id like to upgrade my stock yellow ones but cant justify paying $250 for them, at least not right now anyway.

thanks

I am not sure what brand the Ebay guys carry but the MyCarr brand we carry have been very reliable and are a straight forward install. We have had this brand for about 3 years now and they are among the best we have tested if you are looking for a more pure white output. The install is a straight plug and play setup and a direct replacement for your stock units as well. Here is a link with more info:

FYI I bought the Predator Ice V2s and they werent bright at all. The AIB V3s I haven't seen in person, but I've heard mixed reviews on them. Personally, I'm waiting for member elite_motorsports to come out with HID angel eyes for pre-lci cars. He's in the process of developing them now.

You may want to do a search on the forums, but if my memory services be correct, the predator ice are nothing more then GP thunder bulbs anyway, so you're getting virtually the same bulb just re-packaged. Dont waste your money on the more expensive ones if you are gonna just go with the white as you wont notice much difference between the cheaper ones and the more expensive brand.

I have predator ice v2, and I bought them on sale for $150, plus shipping. However none of these brands will look as bright as the LCI version, so if youre looking for that you'll be dissapointed. I am willing to bet in the LCI version, the entire way the light is distributed was re-designed, so bulb brightness is irrelevant
