I recently bought one of these sunglasses holders that replaces the driver's side grab handle and it does not fit. My headliner looks different than the one pictured, it's a much more gradual taper. The parts are referenced to fit E60s, and I'm sure the attachment points are located where it would fit it's just that the plastic housing is too wide for the space.

Are there ones designed for LCI vehicles, or is than an option I'm going to have to live without?

Well, I was wrong. The part 'fits' it just took some quality persuading.





Installed some bumper plugs,


and a door plug as well.


One last goofy mod as some lagniappe for clicking on my dumb thread.

ECS sells them too link if you don't like ebay/paypal.

I emailed the seller and told them it didn't fit. They were willing to fully refund my money if I wasn't satisfied, and also explained it may take some convincing. Remove the screws and screw doors to do the initial fitting...
