My Ride: 2004 BMW 525i, Titanium Silver, Black Dakota Interior w/poplar wood trim, Tinted Windows, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Stick-shift, Bluetooth, AUX Input
Hi guys, just touching on an old topic... did anybody do a retrofit for navigation in USA for NON-6UA cars?
I know that it is possible in Europe.. was wondering whether it is available in the US now?

It is possible to add navigation to any E60 model vehicle but you must have Option 609 , I have research this and found out that if I didn't have that option it can't be done. I made the mistake of buying a new E60 without Navigation but was told we could add it later as we wanted that vehicle color, we'll we learned the hard way and I also got the complete retro kit to do it but can't so if anyone is looking to do their vehicle I have it for sale @ 1,500.00

You can add any Nav unit you want with our RGB convertor. This unit works on the new 3, 5 and 6 series cars with I drive car. Our unit will let you add DVD, Backup camera or an aftermarket nav.

I know there's a pdf (Service manual) that showed how to get the retrofit done even for Non-pre wired cars... Was wondering whether that is available in US now.
