Got my Dension last week and finally just got it coded up. Coding costs $200. The shop I normally go to refered me to these guys because my usual shop doesn't have the MOST cable to program. These guys have a awesome setup in the shop. VERY happy to have to no longer have the stupid FM transmitter for my music, it sounds much better. I got a 1.5TB usb powered drive I'm getting tommorow that I will keep in my car. I also happend to run into BAGGMAN who I've been talking to on PM, small world, he has a sick 550i.

Oh and something special to make everyone jelious. They have the 2nd to last M1 ever made which was shipped from NY for work at this shop. The guy in the shop told me $12k for a new_ water pump that has to be machined from scratch. And $8 for a new clutch. Car was insane, I had never seen one before. The guy said the car is extremely hard to work on because its so delicate.

Nice to see a classic, I see you got it done like you said you would. Hope its sound great. I was thinking of trying that shop you went to. Is it $200 for coding just for the dension or is it with other mods?

It was just for coding, $100 an hour, he quoted 2 hours.

Haven't tried the aux yet. I got a external drive hooked up, and it works perfect. The dension needs to build a DB of the harddrive which is incredibly slow and sometimes can not even complete. There is a app you can do to manually build the music index that the car would normally do on the PC.
