It does not look like it is a DIY installation though. It may require some panel removal.
I am not sure. I may use BMW knowledgeable HiFi installer if I can find one in Dallas area.

I will take some pictures as we install it and post result soon.
In the mean time my car is at a dealer for some other problem today.

Why do u need to remove panels? For a location to mount the dension? It should be like the IPOD DIY installation.

I have MP3 player in the front and 6 CD changer in the glove compartment.

You don't need to get to the head unit - you use the optical cable driving the cd changer. you only need to assess the cd changer in the glove box

I have CD changer prep.. but I dont see any optical connector in Glove box? CAn someone post pics pls..
