Yes, I did it.
The Dension 500 announce itself to the BMW programming station as OEM iPod interface.
I'm not sure because BMW might not recognize the Dension as the IPOD kit. There is a switch, by the AUX port where you can switch the dension to try to fool the BMW programming to think its a CDC. Just for programming purposes i believe.[/quote]

Man I love this. Will they come out with a sat radio module? I think i broke my darn Sirius OEM module. I was installing it yesterday and the pin that connected the Sat antenna broke! don't know how i'll fix it or what to do. I just want SAT radio.

No, I made dip switches 1,2 & 6 up and tried to enable it as CDC then failed but all good made it as iPod interface.

Hmm. I have 1 and 2 up and the rest down.
Should it be the same for all cars? I'm using the 3B installation option. (installation documents).
