The E60 MASK cannot handle MP3 CDCs so it's not compatible with Dension. It's interesting that it can read MP3 CD in the front slot, but not on CDC port.

My Ride: BMW E61 530D Sport Touring Auto Sat Nav Dension Gateway Parrot CK3100
I had a Parrot CK3100 fitted with steering control to replace the BMW bluetooth - why didn't I do it sooner!
However the Dension was fitted at the same time....The I-Drive cant see it and to make matters worse it sees the CD 1-6 drives but you can't access them.
Installer coming back Friday - any ideas welcome

You can try the BMW non-MP3 DIP setting on GW, just to see if you have iPod sound and track control. You won't have text in this case.
If it works then let the service enable MP3 on the head unit and switch back to BMW MP3 mode on GW.
Do you have CCC? Does it play MP3 disc in front slot?
