The oem trunk appears much more stylish than the M5 trunk lid finisher. The original is sculpted, angular, contrasting, interesting and the mod is flat and boring. What am I missing?

This is the trunk lid finisher. If you look closely the trunk key hole is not there. The part is standard on all M5s. There are two versions, European and US. Mine happens to be the Euro version. It's an optional part for all other e60s.
