LOL! I just read this now. Too funny. I actually like these a lot, as I'm a fan of the lip too. Mind telling us what they cost? They have to be more then the VB-3's. I'm surprised they dont' make them in 20's... IMHO, it's up to you. I like the look of these over the VB-3's, but am curious as to the cost.

As for me, well...my wheels are currently somewhere on a Fed Ex truck in the middle of the country, so no turning back now. The tires have been ordered on TR and should be here the same day as the wheels (Tuesday). Wednesday they get mounted and you can bet your ass I will be posting many pix. Ah yeaaaaaaaaaaaah baby!

Cmans im such a party pooper always take forever to decide on things still working on my stereo ice system, it will be one of a kind. I want to try and drop my car this weekend but still need to work on the system. I have my springs sitting at my house, just waiting.

These wheels come out middle of june they don't come in 20's only 19's they run the same as the other 998 for staggered 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 with a 2.5" lip in the front and a 3" lip in the rear. not a huge lip but they have 2 options for colors the supersilver and the hypersilver, the supersilver has a tint of black to it which makes it glimmer a little more.

They are taking pre orders now, im ordering the yokohama tires for my rear but i will wait to see what they look like in person. Modbargains had it in their office yesterday they took pics , this is only a prototype as they will be released during bimmerfest.

do they look better than the 20" sevas i profile in silver?

What do you think cmans?

the sevas are 4" lip in the rear and a 2.5" in the front, i want to see the wheels in person profiled on my car. Do you think the 19"s are too small?

These are teh sevas s22 in silver and chrome, they run more expensive, the silver is a little dull so i would want a supersilver or a brilliant silver finish with clear coat but thats adding another 400 bucks to the mix. A lot more than the Velocity wheels in question.

im broken in two now!

I like those wheels, but it's really hard to get perspective on how they'll fit/look based on those pictures. But the wheels are HOT! I don't think you can wrong either way. Go for it man! Get them! You also have to consider 20's and the area you live in. I, for one, would not get 20's in NY. I'd be so anal about every bump, pothole and crack in the road. Driving would become miserable.

Do it! Buy them! Just commit. You'll never be happy until you buy a set.

They're 998 plus 99 for shipping. Oh, right...tires too. Well, I bought General Exclaim UHP's from TireRack. Cost was $591 for all 4 staggered tires, including shipping. My total came to $1600 for the wheels and tires, but it's well worth it for a great looking wheel.

Just get the credit card out and pre-order them!
