I recently got my bumpers, yes BUMPERS , damaged and planning to replace them. I have the MTECH bumpers currently installed but im thinking about changing them to something else. Any suggestions or should I just go back to the MTECH?

OEM M-tech is your best option to keep the car original. If you want something different you can consider the Reiger kit John has now, or any one of the other after market bumpers (CSR, Hamann, etc)

I really like the CSR kit, but I noticed that member denissm went through a lot to get it done. And yes I looking into the Reiger kit also. Not sure what to do. I was thinking about going with the CSR front bumper and Mtech Rear.

just use OEM stuff. Mtech is your best option. Fitment is always an ordeal with non OE stuff. Not to mention i think you shrink the buying pool of people that will want your vehicle when it's time to pass it along with non OE bumpers on it.

I've noticed that people want to say "bumbers" rather than bumpers as well.

If it's an insurance job, and you like the mtech look, you could get the umnitza front that appears to be a mix of the M5 and mtech bumpers - the best of both worlds! I don't think many people would notice that they are not OEM. You'd end up making a little money as it is cheaper. I don't know if it would end up that well money wise with shipping to Canada, customs, etc?? I don't know of any rear bumpers - you could check with umnitza too. I just realized that Trinity has them, too.

It is an insurance job. That was my initial thought also that shipping to Canada may end up being too much of a headache. However, I am definitely feeling for a change. Question is are the body shops around my area able to readjust the bumpers if need be. I really like the CSR front bumper but im not sure if the shop would be willing to put in that extra effort to make it fit. Maybe I'll just go with the umnitza front and mtech rear.

I would think that a good body shop could make it work quite easily. Honestly, even the OEM bumper may need a little tweaking to make it align just right. I've only heard of problems with the headlight washers lining up, but I would think a good body shop could do that quite easily or even reuse your old ones - assuming that you have them. You already have the side skirts, so you should be good to go. I personally wouldn't do anything that doesn't look OEM just for resale reasons, but it's your car. Look at member pjinca - recently posted pics of his car with the front bumper from Trinity. Very nice.

If this only would have happened when the exchange rate was more favorable...

You're not too far from the border, just go pick it up and drive it over
