Rizbel, could you please post where you're buying these bulbs? Curious about the price ...
Anyone else with input? Btw, I read about them on a sales site and they seem to brag about how blue they are. I don't want the Japanese looking blue -- I really just want a bright white. Are there two types or am I misunderstanding?

I think the brightest and whitest will be 5000k. I have 5000k fogs and they are not really bluish but more of a bright white. I have been looking for 5000k D2S but still have not found a reputable dealer that has them.

stock is rated at 4300k, i would recommend getting MTEC D2S in 6k, we had no issues thus far and error free or your money back. here is an installed shot

I decided to get a pair of Philips Crystal Vision 5000K D2S instead. Not bluish and has more lumens(better visibility) than 6000k HIDs.

I have 5000k in one of my cars, and 4300 in the other... they look exactly the same during the day. 5000k is whiter at night. 6000k is the way to go imo.
