I just purchased my '04 525, it has the Logic 7 but I'm looking to move my Alpine subs from my Ram to my new car for the added bass.
I've always bought custom fit boxes (can't stand the standard rectangle box that people just throw in their trunk, I think it looks cheap). I was wondering what options yall might have seen or actually use?

I found this very nice fitting enclosure but it specifies that it won't fit in cars with factory logic 7. I don't know why it wouldn't work though...

plus I already have 2 10" alpine e-types so I would like to put them to good use. I know the e39 had a similar box available for both corners of the trunk that had cut-outs so you could use your own subs.

Or then there is this, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380132498864&rvr_id=&crlp=1_263602_263622&UA=WVF%3F&GUID=420c17cc1260a02652b7bfd7ff637a59&itemid=380132498864&ff4=263602_263622Its not bad but I feel like it would take up half the trunk-space..

I suppose if I got really adventurous I could always make my own, but I feel like it wouldn't come out like the vision I have in my mind haha.

well I've heard good things about the JL boxes, as for the ebay one if that was the route I would just make it myself or have a local shop make you one.

get it made at a local shop....lol you can't buy a "custom" box online. You can buy a box that is made for a specific car, but once again that isn't custom/unique. I have a system built to my specs and ported through my ski pass. 2 10w3's and jl 500/1 amp and that shit hits amazing.

Same here, i have 1 12" Hertz at 1k watts through the skipass although that might change this weekend stay tuned for pics.

My question is how in the world are they getting the bass in to the cabin if the bass will be trapped in the trunk
