Okay this is my plea for help. I currently have the B&B exhaust for my 545i that I absolutely love but I also want the look of a dual exhaust. Rather than pay over $1500 for a dual, I am trying to convert my B&B into a dual. Here are my two options: 1. (The easier route) Find a used B&B and retrofit it the right side so that I can have matching tips. B&B won't sell just their tips. OR 2. Cut the tips off my B&B (yikes) and weld on a set that i can find a matching pair for the right side. Then of course I would have to have a muffler plate to make it look like there is actually an exhaust there too.
So does anyone have any recommendations on what tips would look good AND that I could buy separate from the whole exhaust? I looked into the AC Schnitzer's but those are like 3-400 a piece. I know this is a crazy idea but could anyone lend me a helping hand?

hey, will the B&B muffler even fit on the right side? because the spare tire and the battery boxes dont give you too much room to work with unless you do custom work on it. but your better off with your first choice

I think bleudyno is only putting a dummy pipe to the right side with a plate behind the exhaust tips to mimmick a muffler, similar to the Eisenmann quad exhaust.

bleudyno, I think your muffler shop would have a lot of option on exhaust tips that you can choose from. I remember seeing a ton of muffler tips at my local shop a while back. They also have catalogs that you can order from as well.
