Just wanted to know what the opinions are out there on the CSL trunk by VIS or Seibon. I am thinking about purchasing one and wonder how it would look on a non M E60 without Msport kit (LCI stock body). Or would it look better with the Msport kit.

I think the car has to be heavily modded, because csl trunk is pretty aggressive itself.

True that!

Better spend the money on the front bumper or lowering springs.

BTW I've read that because of how much lighter carbon fibre trunks are than the stock ones, you will need to adjust the pivoting mechanisms (or whatever you call the mounts for the trunk, basically) to open slower.

Thanks for the advice V_therussian. I'm lowered on H&R springs now, so the Front Bumper and sides may have to be the next move. I do want to get some Bilstein shocks as well, because the H&Rs are on stock sport package shocks.

I remember reading that the replica CSL trunks like Seibon and VIS have a smaller license plate area so you have to modify aka bend your US license plate to fit it.

I could be wrong though.
