I thought when you drill a rotor you have a higher chance of warping them? I assumed rotors had to have been created slotted, not drilled.

does any one know where i can get cross drilled and possibly slotted roters (brake discs) for a 530 diesel?
every where i look do them for up to 525d and petrol models but i cant find ones for 530/535 diesel (bigger because of the weight i suppose?)

Depends on what process they use to drill the holes....if they just straight drill them, they are more likely to crack....if they chamfer the holes it won't weaken the rotor. Still, I would only use ebay rotors for daily driving. If you do any kind of track driving, I would get the real deal
I would not use these on track they will ware out within a few laps

on average...how many miles are expected on cross drilled rotors? If it depends on brand, please comment on the brand you have or know of

before I change my green stuff pads, I had about 40% left on my OEM pads at 38000km
my will last for at lest 120000km for the disk cos I don't brake hard.
When I change my greenstuff with oem disk, the green stuff wares the disk much faster.

Very impressed with both
