Its nice to see someone beating me to the punch with this led project...has anyone used white bulbs instead of the red ones...i wonder if they would be brighter or a nicer color...hoping it wont make the lights pink
Wow you just dug up an over 3 year old thread.

Someone is getting good with the search function.

I'm using a similar LED bulb with no problem. Red LEDs are brighter than white(for use as stop lamps).

I know that you said the fault controls will detect a burnt bulb for the LEDs, is there a way to get rid of that as I try to install some LED for my plate light and the fault message keeps popping up and it is very annoying, any solution?

Thanks DAS
You would need to figure out which type of resistor will best suit the LED you're using. The other best error-free solution would be going with the full RDash LED replacement lamps.

Hi, im actually trying to do something similar with my lights but cant really figure out the resistor set up. I want to run the same led bulbs but in the actual turn signal. I tried to fit them twice but i guess because of the load, it won't work at all. Everyone says to use a resistor but i can't figure out which exact one i need. I tried the 50/10 resistor and the 10/10 but so far...nothing. Any suggestions.?

You'll need a 6ohm 50w Load EQ for the turn signals
