If he kept the stock M5 tires with the rims, then they will rub. What size of tires are on the wheels, and are these true BMW M5 wheels or replicas? Does he know what the offsets are on the wheels?

Yes. As mrfva stated the tires would rub if they are the ones sized for the m5. You would need to do as I did and buy new tires so they dont rub.

I actually have OEM M5's with a lowered car and I dont rub at all.

what tire size do u recommed?
or have on ur car.

I have narrowed it down to the following 3
20 Hartge Classic II
19 M5 replica
19 m6 replica

Need tire info.

Depends if they're staggered or not, and your offset(s).

I am looking at the replicas not OEM.

Which one for better looks, staggered?
I also wonder if it's gonna slow my 525i down to like 318 speed. lol
but gotta look good.

staggered look better. wider stance, especially if you add spacers as well.

i moved from 16" to 18".didnt feel any difference in performance, rather more stability on sharp turns(gotta luv it).
Besides that the ride on RFTs is sooooooo rocky and bad. look is amazing.

Ive got staggered 18".

if i were u rjh&co,id look into the classified secion and get a used OEM, better than replica.(used OEM prob same price as NEW REPLiCA, slighly more expensive but worth it)
