Well, I'm gonna start shopping around some dealers and body shops here in Denver to install my M-Tech kit.
Just so I have a range in mind, can those who have paid for the install share the approximate cost? I just want to have a reasonable amount in mind when I go "shopping."
Thanks!

You buying Painted Mkit or unpainted? If unpainted, then expect $800-$1000 for painting and install.

I don't really remember what I told them but you could be right with it including the painting.
Thinking of buying $999 painted+shipped frontbumper from quad_m and see how much to install just the front-bumper..

Paint + Install: $800-$1300 (Depending on quality of shop)
Install: $250
Tony supplying parts and paint = $2000

$250?? I hope so, but that sounds cheap. I guess I was figuring 4-5 hours minimum for a shop that knows what they're doing, since that's the recommended time from BMW. Around $100/hour per person. I was gonna be pretty happy at $500.

Sorry - forgot to mention that I am ordering the parts from Tony painted. So, I just need to find a shop who can install the parts.

The shop I go to told me it would only cost $200 to install. It would take at most 1-2 hours for a shop who's installed it before. 3-4 shops who has never installed the mtech kit before. It requires some cutting. It would be nice to have a printout of the instructions handy incase the installer runs into any problems.
